In just over a month, from 5 till 7 November, the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht will again open its doors for the main Benelux exhibition about logistics and materials handling. On their stand (Hal 2, D030) Costo will demonstrate the goods-to-person e-fulfilment Eirasystem, being an operational demonstration of showcase of Eirabots AGV’s, shuttle racks and picking station, all managed by the Eirasoft Robotic Management software.
The Irish Eiratech Robotics is not the only partner present on the Costo stand. Consoveyo, the Portuguese developer and manufacturer of automated material handling and storage systems, is joining the team to elaborate on their ample solutions range, amongst which their AGV's, RGV's and stacker cranes.
Combining the above solutions with Costo’s engineering skills, their vast experience and in-house developed mechanisation products, like roller conveyors, results in a total offering for all businesses that want to improve the performance off their warehouse.
The theme of the Logistica perfectly connects with Costo proposition: the smart warehouse. According to the organizers companies today face complex challenges. How should they cope with digitalisation? How do developments such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality, robotics impact their logistics processes? On our booth we will be more than happy to share our views and real-world solutions on this matter.
At the same time (and same location), the exhibition ICT & Logistiek takes place. This show focusses on how IT software and services can improve logistic processes. Xtend Business, our sister company, is part of the IMCC stand where various companies who aim at improving the supply chain join forces, thus leading to a one-stop-shop for visitors.
Alarik Lens van Rijn, managing director at Costo, is looking forward to the show: “We are very excited to present the Eiratech robots along with the solutions of our other partner Consoveyo. In any case, here at Costo we are primarily interested in the logistic challenge and are equally excited to help both the largest retailers with complex warehouses as well as the medium-sized companies that are looking into their first steps to mechanize the warehouse.”
