Cost-effective solution for conveying bins, boxes and trays to picking stations
Automation issue in your warehouse?
Shuttles provide a highly dynamic and cost-effective solution for conveying bins, boxes or trays to picking stations.
The compact storage enables optimal use of valuable space. The system guarantees high throughput capacity, partly because it enables order pickers to focus on their core task.
Automation issue in your warehouse?
A shuttle system is an automatic automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS) that deposits and retrieves boxes, bins or trays using robots (shuttles). The shuttle robots move autonomously over the rack frame to locations specified by the WMS or WCS. Once there, the integrated reach system on the vehicle (single-depth or double-depth) removes the goods from the rack and places them within the contours of the shuttle. The goods are taken to a lift and then transported to the correct picking station for picking. If desired, the shuttles can serve multiple levels in an aisle. The number of shuttles can also be increased depending on requirements.
