Warehouse management system

A warehouse management system (WMS) is a smart way of increasing the efficiency of your inventory management and logistics processes. It decreases errors and increases the level of service. The right WMS will help you to keep tabs on your goods flows and stock, at all times and anywhere.

The benefits of the warehouse management system.

Real-time insight into current stocks
High level of service
Integrates flawlessly into existing IT environments
Separate modules for standard customisation
Clear and comprehensive reporting

How does a warehouse management system work?

A warehouse management system (WMS) acts as a link between the ERP and the warehouse control system (WCS). Based on information from the ERP, the WMS controls daily operations such as order picking and the entry and exit of goods.
The system continuously monitors performance and generates reports that provide greater insight into matters such as inventory and KPIs. Costo logistics software offers a choice between a simple stock management WMS or a state-of-the art version, complete with links to existing IT environments, picking modules, RF modules and/or extensive reporting possibilities. The WMS is also available as a cloud-based solution.

Because everey warehouse is unique, every WMS is a combination of different modules.
